Viggo Mortensen's hairdo troubles some folks
The Huffington Post has posted a poll asking readers their opinion of Viggo's latest look.
Viggo Mortensen is at the Venice Film Festival to premiere his long-awaited cinematic version of Cormac McCarthy's The Road Thursday night.
Thursday at a photo call Viggo, 50, arrived by boat in a "Make Art, Not War" t-short and a middle-parted, shoulder-length bob.
Your choices in the poll are "Love it!"; "Love HIM, but not the hair"; or "Lose It". Unfortunately there is no option for "Love Viggo and whatever he wants to do with his hair is fine with me." Thankfully, most of the comments express this latter opinion! Vote and/or comment here.

I love Viggo no matter what he is wearing - or not wearing, hahaha I think he is a fantastic actor. I loved him in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Hilago and that Russian ganster movie, I can't remember the same. I like him with the long hair!!!
Viggo Mortensen is truly artistic, extremely talented, possesses a rare quality of modesty, and is simply a beautiful person. Whatever hair style he chooses to express himself will bring out this beauty.
inconditionnelle de Viggo je le trouve toujours parfait et surtout très authentique!sa simplicité est émérite, son talent exceptionnel, ses qualités humaines magnifiques ,je l'admire en tous points!
Viggo happens to look gorgeous with long hair! His "perfect" look was the long wild locks of Aragorn. What female wouldn't have given up immortality for that? (Aragorns was vastly sexier untamed than the neatly coiffed king at the end *sigh* but what can you do?) Impossible not to admire Viggo for his artistry in all his endeavors, impossible not to love the fearlessness and sensitivity. He is the epitome of masculinity.
Robyne--"not wearing" (oh, the thought--now if only there'd been a reasonable explanation for a naked scene as Aragorn--I'd imagine in 600 years a man might learn a few interesting things)
Michka--D'accord, c'est parfait!
Dame un beso por favor, Viggo!
oh, I have to agree -- the wild-haired Strider was definitely sexier than the properly coiffed King ... ;)
I wouldn't care if he was bald and missing teeth. He's hot and I love him.
